XMLink 에서 구축하는 학술지 웹사이트 (Central Service)에 더욱 원활하게 원문을 볼 수 있도록 다음과 같이 interface를 개선하였습니다.
1. Navigation sidebar (그림 1의
)
논문 보기 화면 오른쪽에 Navigation sidebar를 신설하여 "Formats" "Cited by" "Export" "Figures" "Tables" "Supplementary materials" 등 다양한 링크를 제공합니다.
; Internet Explorer 7 이상, Chrome, Safari 그리고 Firefox에 최적화.
2. Thumbnail Video (Supplementary Materials)
논문의 보조자료 (Supplementary Materials)로 동영상이 있는 경우, 논문보기(article) 화면 오른 쪽 Navigation sidebar에 Thumbnail Video가 생성이 되어, 바로 재생 (play)하여 볼 수 있습니다 (그림 1의
). 그리고 Thumbnail Video 바로 아래 쪽의 "High Resolution Video"를 클릭하면, 원본 파일을 다운받을 수 있습니다 (그림 1의 
).

3. Section 별 Go to: navigation (그림 1의
)
논문의 "Introduction" "Materials & Methods" "Discussion" "References" 등 각 section 제목의 끝 부분에있는 Go to: 펼침 메뉴에서 Section 제목을 누르면 다른 section으로 빠르게 이동할 수 있습니다.

4. "Articles with Supplementary Materials" 검색 기능
인쇄본 학술지 (print journal) 논문에 수록되지 않았으나, 온라인 상에서 추가적으로 참고할 수 있도록 e-journal에서만 제공하는 동영상 (video), Excel data 파일, Word 문서, PDF 문서 등 논문의 보조적 자료 (Supplementary Materials)를 포함하고 있는 논문만 따로 검색할 수 있는 기능입니다.
Advanced Search 화면 아래쪽의 "Articles with Supplementary Materials" 를 선택한 후 검색하면 (그림 2의), 검색 조건에 맞는 논문 중 Supplementary Materials를 포함하고 있는 논문으로 제한 검색이 됩니다 (그림 2의 ). Article 또는 Supplementary Materials 아이콘을 눌러 논문 화면으로 이동하여 보조자료를 볼 수 있습니다 (그림 2의 , )
