To help you prevent professional and scholarly plagiarism, we’ve recently launched three enhancements to Crossref Similarity Check powered by iThenticate that you can start using now:
1. Easy Doc-to-Doc Comparison
Need to compare a manuscript or article with a specific text that’s not in the iThenticate database? Now you can with just a few clicks!
With Doc-to-doc comparison, you can ensure that a manuscript does not contain content duplicated in other unpublished works. Doc-to-doc comparison also helps publishers confirm that all co-authors’ contributions have been attributed appropriately before publication.
Simply log into your iThenticate account, select Doc-to-Doc Comparison on the homepage, and privately compare a document with up to five texts of your choosing.

2. Larger File Size Limits
You asked, we answered! iThenticate now accepts files up to 100MB, so you can check larger documents with ease.
3. Similarity Checking for PowerPoint and Excel Files
Need to ensure your upcoming conference presentation isn’t missing quotes or citations?
Looking to check data sets for unusual similarity? iThenticate now allows you to check PowerPoint and Excel files.
